I received an email this morning for a recipe that was one of our favorites! Here’s what it said…

I lived in Houston for 30 years and am now retired in San Antonio. In the 90′s I used to have family visit me from out of state and I had no time to cook. I used to purchase a casserole from your pick up menu called “Gloria’s Chicken Casserole” It became a family favorite. They insisted on having every time they visited. It was easy to pick up as you were on my home from my office downtown. Is that casserole still available?…or do you not have pick up service anymore.

If you don’t, do you have the recipe stored in your files and would you share it with a a retired old lady who craves your food in San Antonio.

Thank you so much for your email. We love Gloria’s Casserole, too. It was a recipe we developed in the early 80′s and we get the occasional request for it. I’m mailing you the recipe. But you should look for the UPS guy to arrive there tomorrow as I’m also sending you a little bit of Gloria’s Casserole to tide you over until then! Enjoy and thank you for emailing Melange!
